South Africa: Perdekraal East online

The 107.8MW Perdekraal East wind farm in Western Cape has begun operating, renewable energy developer Lekela Power announced on 8 October. Construction has been under way since July 2018. The plant uses 48 Siemens SWT-2.3-108 turbines on locally manufactured towers and is expected to generate 360GWh/yr.
