South Africa: 8 Rivers, MGA sign carbon capture deal

United States-based 8 Rivers Capital has signed an agreement with Monetizing Gas Africa (MGA) to collaborate on carbon capture and clean hydrogen and fuels initiatives in South Africa. The two companies will assess the potential for capturing and disposing of carbon dioxide resulting from the use of imported liquified natural gas (LNG) and expect to begin the process in early 2022.
