Senegal: World Bank approves $150m electrification project

The World Bank Group (WBG) board has approved a $150m International Development Association loan for the Energy Access Scale-Up Project (Padaes). The bulk of the funds ($125m, with an additional $10m from the government) will be used to support last-mile connections for households and grid extension.
