Nigerian government pushes for more gas supplies amid market scepticism

Gas reserves in the Niger Delta could come into play as the government seeks to improve domestic supply, but critics say the new Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) still does too little to incentivise gas production and expected changes to regulated gas prices are unlikely to change that.
