Nigeria: Transmission line to Lagos collapses after vandals attack pipeline

Five transmission towers on the 330kV Ikeja-West Akangba line supplying Lagos collapsed in December, according to a statement from the state-owned Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), which blamed “massive damage” from a fire caused by a vandalised pipeline nearby.
