Nigeria: FID for NLNG Train 7

Issue 407 - 16 Jan 2020 | 2 minute read

Eni and its partners in Nigeria LNG announced a final investment decision (FID) on 27 December for the long-mooted Train 7 expansion of the plant. The development will increase NLNG’s production capacity to more than 30m t/yr from the current 22.5m t/yr when it starts up in 2024. NLNG also produces 5m t/yr of liquefied petroleum gas and condensate from its total 3.5bcf/d of natural gas intake. Gas is supplied via six main dedicated gas transmission systems, with four of them onshore.
