| 1 minute read
In the latest round of musical chairs among London-based African power developers, Globeleq’s head of asset management, Chris Ford, is joining Lekela Power, the Africa-focused renewables developer created by emerging market private equity investor Actis and Mainstream Renewable Power. Ford joined Globeleq in 2006 to work with Songas in Tanzania, his base since then, and he is now returning to London with Lekela, developing wind and solar projects across Africa, notably in South Africa, Ghana and Egypt.
