Namibia: Work begins on 287km transmission line

State utility NamPower has begun construction of the 287km 400kV Auas-Gerus transmission line – an element of plans to expand the country’s N$3.5bn ($244m) 400kV backbone by 833km and is being built by local company Power Line Africa
