Canada’s ReconAfrica has identified several prospects following the completion of a 2D seismic programme in the Kavango sedimentary basin in northeast Namibia. A spokesperson for the company told African Energy that data from the campaign had led to “the identification of multiple drilling prospects targeting commercial accumulations of oil and natural gas in conventional reservoirs.”
