Lack of progress at the 40MW Rumuruti solar PV project has caused its main shareholders, Norway’s Norfund and Scatec Solar, to pull out. Rumuruti signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) in May 2018 but has not yet reached financial close. Voltalia signed a PPA for its 40MW Kopere project at the same time and has also not announced financial close or construction.
