Kenya: KenGen to study waste-to-energy plant in Nairobi

Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) seeks to engage an international consultancy to carry out a feasibility study for the development and operation of a waste-to-energy plant in Nairobi. Expressions of interest are due by 25 September. The plant, which is planned to be located at the Dandora landfill, approximately 10km from the city centre, will be built in partnership with Nairobi Metropolitan Services.
