Kenya: KenGen to study LNG imports

Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) is seeking expressions of interest from consultants by 30 November for a feasibility study for LNG imports. The study would cover the development and operation of infrastructure for importation, storage and regasification of LNG for power generation, conversion of existing HFO plants to run on natural gas, and development of a new gas power plant.
