The New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA) has signed an order for 250MW of turbines for one of its large wind farm sites in the Gulf of Suez that has been earmarked for potential development since before 2011. The equipment will be supplied by what appears to be a new consortium led by Denmark’s Vestas.
