Egypt: Aswan rehabilitation tender

The Hydro Plants Generation Company (HPGC) is seeking prequalification bids from consultants by 11 May to oversee the rehabilitation of the Aswan High Dam, Aswan I and Aswan II plants.The main focus of the work, which is financed by a loan from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, will be the replacement of power transformers that have reached the end of their life, as well as replacement of the thrust bearing cooling system at Aswan II.
