East Africa: GRMF launches sixth round

The Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility for East Africa launched its sixth application round on 6 May, including Somalia as an eligible country for the first time. The deadline for submission of expressions of interest (EoIs) is 15 July. The African Union Commission, via the Regional Geothermal Coordination Unit, is inviting public or private organisations as well as public-private partnerships to submit an EoI to prequalify for financing support.
