Anadarko: El Merk, Jubilee output boosts performance

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation has announced that output from El Merk in the Berkine Basin has risen to a record 150,000 b/d. The company’s total oil and gas output reached 848,000 boe/d in H2 2014, with overall output up by almost 100,000 boe/d (with oil output up by 65,000 b/d) on H2 2013. The rise is accounted for by increased output from US shale (50,000 b/d) and the Algerian acreage. In the Jubilee field offshore Ghana, Anadarko said cumulative gross oil production exceeded 100m bbls in Q2.
