Thalia is one of the founders of African Energy. She led the editorial team for African Energy’s newsletter and the African Energy Atlas for 23 years, managing staff and an exclusive network of energy specialists and correspondents in key African states.
Thalia has extensive knowledge of the continent’s power, oil and gas industries. Before that, she developed her knowledge of Africa as a foreign correspondent and analyst, working for Reuters in West Africa and for specialist political newsletter Africa Confidential.
Thalia has a Masters in modern languages (German and French) from the University of Oxford.
