Deputy editor Marc Howard's journalism covers the African energy space, including transition/critical minerals, renewables, upstream and downstream hydrocarbons, power projects and commodities. He also focuses on commercial and industrial power projects, particularly in the mining space.
Marc also carries out an array of consulting work for clients including investment houses, listed companies and international organisations. He has a strong track record in due diligence and market entry work, advising investors on prospective ventures across the continent, and has experience of working in several southern and eastern African countries. Marc holds a doctorate from the University of Oxford.
