Head of consultancy (2019-2022)
Between March 2019 and January 2022, David was responsible for the management and growth of African Energy’s consultancy arm, which provides stakeholders in the continent’s energy sectors with a range of research services to support investment decisions.
David joined African Energy in October 2011 and worked as a research analyst and senior project manager over an eight year period before heading up the consultancy team.
With a deep understanding of the electricity sub-sector and the political and economic complexities of West and Central Africa, his work provided African Energy’s clients with detailed opportunity and risk analyses, demand and supply forecasts and impact assessments, all of which have supported numerous investments in power projects in complex and often opaque markets.
David graduated with a degree in politics and a postgraduate degree in international relations.
